The checks worth making

- Which complex and building is it, and which floor out of how many?
- What is the rent, what area appears on the arnona bill, and when is entry?
- What is the va'ad bayit, and does it cover the pool, gym, guard and the other services, or are there separate fees?
- Is the guard on duty 24/7, and is the pool heated, covered and open all year? What are the hours and the rules for tenants and guests?
- Are the 2 parking spaces registered to the unit, and is EV charging available or allowed?
- Is there a mamad in the apartment or a shelter on the floor?
- What lease term, extension option and indexation are offered, which securities are required, and who pays the broker fee?
- Is the apartment furnished, and what air conditioning and appliances are included?
- Which schools is the address zoned for?
- Is building work or Green Line work planned next to the complex during the lease?
- The draft lease, including guarantees, indexation and option
- A breakdown of the building fee and what it covers, and the pool and gym rules
- The unit's latest arnona bill
- Confirmation of the landlord's rights in the unit and both parking spaces
- A handover record and equipment list
